Keeping current plans, annexes, contact lists and agreements searchable and reachable from wherever the incident is being run, including from a phone.

Before you buy

  • Ask what happens to access when the network is down. A plan that only exists in a portal is a plan you may not have.
  • Ask how a superseded version stops being findable, because two versions in circulation is worse than one out of date.
  • Ask who can update it, and how long an update takes to reach the field.

Keeping plans current

Review cycles, ownership and change tracking, so a plan's age and author are visible to whoever opens it.

Before you buy

  • Ask whether the system shows when a section was last reviewed and by whom.
  • Ask whether contact lists are maintained anywhere other than inside the document.
