We find residents who need help but have no reliable way to refer them and follow up

A crew notices a hoarding condition, a fall risk or a family with no working alarm, and the knowledge leaves with the shift. There is no record, no referral to the agency that could act, and no way to know whether anything came of it.

Technology approaches

Referral and follow-up tracking

Recording what a crew found, sending it to the partner who can act on it, and keeping the loop open until somebody closes it.

Before you buy

  • Ask what the partner sees, and whether that is what your data-sharing agreement allows.
  • Ask how a referral is closed, and what happens to one nobody closes.
  • Ask whether a crew can raise a referral from the apparatus in under a minute. If not, they will not.

Home visit and home safety programme management

Scheduling visits, recording what was found and installed, and keeping the address history so a repeat visit starts from what is already known.

Before you buy

  • Ask whether the record survives the volunteer, the season and the grant that paid for it.
  • Ask how consent is recorded, and how a household withdraws it.
